

Debbie is a professional facilitator, keynote speaker, author, and certified neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner based in Toronto, Ontario. Debbie has been delivering leadership and influential communication seminars with the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors since September 2008 when she founded Your Communication Matters Inc.
She draws on her experiences as a former teacher, marketing manager in the financial industry, and education liaison in the pharmaceutical industry to make complex ideas more accessible, relevant, and engaging.
Debbie is a lifelong student of learning. She completed her Organizational Mindfulness Teacher Certification with the Institute for Organizational Science and Mindfulness (IOSM) in May 2024. She completed her Masters in Adult Education at Saint Francis Xavier University in Eastern Canada in 2017.
In March 2012, her story “My Role Matured as I Did” was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Family Caregiver. Debbie’s first book was released, If I Ran this Place.... Communication for Results in March 2011,
She enjoys working with people to support them in reaching their potential.
